Remote access for students and employees at Roskilde University

From January 2017 you access online resources through the Royal Danish Library's REX.

If you are not registered as a user at the Royal Danish Library – Copenhagen, you must register here. Choose Employee or Student (and put a check mark in "Student at Roskilde University" when filling out the registration form). After registration you will receive a link in your RU mail which you must click to confirm registration and obtain remote access. Restart your browser after confirmation.

If you are registered as a user at the Royal Danish Library – Copenhagen, type in your RU username in the "New RUC username" field under Personal details in REX and click Send. Subsequently you will receive a link in your RU mail which you must click to obtain remote access. Restart your browser after confirmation.

Closing of hospital user accounts

Hospital user accounts (personal user with 6-digit ID) with Royal Danish Library, Copenhagen, will close on 15 June 2017.

If you access electronic resources via your BAM-ID login, your remote access continues unchanged.

If you need to request or loan physical items, you must be registered as private user or UCPH employee.

The closure is a response to budget cuts at Royal Danish Library, Copenhagen, and ensuing restructuring of the library’s services, including the hospital user service and your hospital user account. The closure is part of the cooperation with the university hospitals in the Copenhagen Metropolitan Area (CUH CPH) on access to electronic resources through Royal Danish Library, Copenhagen, for staff employed with hospitals.
